As mentioned at the beginning, silver and pewter in particular have a long tradition at Marktgasse 29. When Jürg Stadelmann took over the jewelry shop, it was full of pewter cups, bowls, jugs and plates. He has continued this tradition in a somewhat reduced form.
Unfortunately, pewter has lost more and more of its value over the years, but we still have some handmade plates with brass rims in our range today.
The tradition that still exists is silver hollowware.
Candlesticks, picture frames, cups, salt and pepper shakers or key rings made of 0.925 silver are just some of the silver products that can still be found in our shop windows today. We find that the antiseptic precious metal gives everyday objects a noble and valuable effect. This is one of the reasons why silverware is ideal as a gift in all situations.
To this day, we work with partners who have mastered the craft of goldsmithing to perfection, as we no longer employ our own goldsmiths. The companies come from Switzerland, Germany and England and value the craft just as much as we do.
Of course, this also allows us to include selected products in our Trouvaille and to present unique pieces there from time to time.
In our Trouvaille you will find used jewelry as well as liquidation goods from suppliers at interesting prices. You also have the opportunity to sell your jewelry on consignment. We are also happy to provide you with other information about our store at the back of Marktgasse 29.
